报告人简介: 谢晓亮教授1962年出生于北京,1984年毕业于北京大学化学系。1990年获美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校化学博士学位。1990-1991年在美国芝加哥大学从事博士后研究。1992-1998年在美国太平洋西北国家实验室环境分子科学实验室工作。1999年受聘哈佛大学化学与化学生物学系正教授,2009年受聘哈佛Mallinckrodt讲席教授。2011年5月当选美国科学院院士。他还获选美国艺术与科学院院士、美国物理学会会士、美国科学促进会会士、美国生物物理学会会士和中国化学会荣誉会士。作为室温下单分子荧光显微技术的开拓者之一,谢晓亮教授推动和带领了单分子研究在生物学中的应用。他是单分子酶学的奠基人,开创了活细胞中的单分子研究。他主导研制的以快速拉曼散射为主的高灵敏、无标记光学成像技术,为生物医学研究提供了全新的方法。
